About

Meet Michelle
A Journey of Compassionate and Comprehensive Care
Michelle is an AHPRA registered Clinical Psychology Registrar, who is supporting adults and adolescence clients through a wide range of challenges, from anxiety, depression, and relationship stress, to trauma, grief, and more complex or persistent difficulties.
Her experience spans early government, research, and clinical work, including roles within the Justice Department, early education and care, suicide prevention, and supporting individuals with severe and persistent mental illness. These experiences have shaped her grounded, flexible, and compassionate approach to therapy.
Michelle takes an integrative, evidence-based approach, drawing on cognitive-behavioural, attachment-focused, acceptance-based, transdiagnostic and emotion-focused frameworks, that support understanding and managing overlapping mental health challenges. She has a particular interest in Neuro-affirming practices, Schema Therapy, utilising Trauma-informed principles and skills based practices in her work.
At the heart of her work is the therapeutic relationship. This ensures a safe and non-judegmental therapeutic space to collaborate with clients and explore underlying patterns, gently challenge unhelpful beliefs, and develop skills that support emotional regulation, resilience, and personal growth.
She understands that seeking support can feel daunting and aims to provide a safe, welcoming space where clients feel heard, understood, and empowered to work toward meaningful, lasting change.
